Jon Bental taught himself to play guitar as a teenager, playing the “Piedmont” fingerpicking style.

Jon plays and sings cover versions of a wide variety of songs, particularly from the 60s and 70s.

Jon is influenced by the singer-songwriters of the 60s and 70s such as John Martyn, JJ Cale, Ry Cooder and Joni Mitchell, as well as the treasure trove of blues, jazz, folk, country, “roots”, and gospel.

He is also a member of the band “Ever After”.
