Dave Lambert (aka “the Other Dave”) is a “songster” – a singer-songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player who performs original songs as well as those written by other people.

He comes from a background of busking on the London Underground and in Kingston-upon-Thames and Woking, through pub, cafe and other venue gigs as a solo performer.

He played as an official busker at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2014 as well as playing at the main venue on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, the Tron Kirk. With his drumming friend, Mark of the DMs, they played a busking and open mic tour of the West Country in 2013 – playing in towns in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall – with a grand final night at the Beached Lamb Cafe in Newquay.

Dave has played “Club” and open mic sessions at Folk Festivals, including Cambridge (2013) and Towersey (2014 & 2015)
And, in 2016, he played harmonica and sang at the Dereham Blues Festival in Norfolk, with his daughter Jo (and, on one song, with the celebrated Blues guitarist Robin Bibi on lead guitar). Also, in 2016, Dave played in Nashville, at the Swingin’ Doors Saloon.

Dave also plays with the band the DMs who have played gigs and local festivals in South-West London, Surrey, Hampshire and Middlesex. And headlined a charity gig, in 2011, at the famous Bedford in Balham.

The DMs and “the Other Dave” (and, sometimes, “the Other Dave and Friends”) all play a range of “feel-good” Country-Rock, Pop, Blues, Folk and Rock.
